They told us what not to build. The advice alone saved us a quarter of wasted engineering — and the build that followed was on time, fully documented and ours to own.
From strategy
to shipped.
The product and AI partner for teams who have to ship — not pilot. Same senior people from the first call to your live release.
The situations we're built for.
You're probably here because one of these sounds familiar. If so, a conversation is likely worth your time.
Vision without execution
A validated idea is stuck in slides. The roadmap is real; the team to deliver it isn't.
AI without a path to production
A demo impresses in a meeting, then sits unused because evaluation and safety were never scoped.
Complexity at scale
A platform that worked at 10x is creaking at 100x. Old decisions are now structural constraints.
Fast teams, wrong problems
Engineering velocity is fine. Alignment on what to ship isn't.
Three ways to work with us.
Hire us for the thinking, the building, or both — same team throughout.
Tech & AI Advisory
AI readiness, technology strategy, architecture review and fractional-CTO guidance — by people who could also deliver the build.

The things about a Mavenup engagement you can hold us to.
Decisions before code
We diagnose what's actually broken before we propose anything — no premature solutions.
Trade-offs on the table
The real cost of every choice is visible before you commit, not after.
The team that scopes ships
The people who advise you deliver the work. No bait-and-switch staffing.
You own everything
Code, designs and IP transfer to you on delivery. You're never locked in.
Our process is simple. The problems aren't.
Four stages, each with a clear exit you can pause on. No long lock-in, no momentum traps.

What clients say.
Five voices across three continents — and the kinds of outcomes we're built to produce.
We had an AI demo we were proud of, and zero path to production. Mavenup got us there in eight weeks — evaluation, guardrails, the lot.
The first call wasn't a pitch. They asked hard questions, and we changed direction the same week. That's worth a lot more than another vendor saying yes.
One team, from the discovery doc to the production release. No handoffs, no surprises in the invoice, no juniors waiting for a Slack answer.
Fixed scope, on time, fully documented. We continued building on what they handed over — without needing to call them back.
Who we work best with.
We're not the right partner for everyone — that's deliberate. A quick filter before you reach out.
You value clarity over speed-for-its-own-sake
You'd rather make the right call than the fast one.
You've been burned by shallow delivery
Output without thinking is what brought you here — you don't want to repeat it.
You want to be involved where decisions matter
You expect a partner who shows their reasoning, not a black box.
You prefer honest trade-offs to optimistic promises
You can hear "no, here's why" and move forward.
What clients ask before we start.
Advisory is a fixed fee for a defined sprint. Builds are quoted as fixed-scope, milestone-based projects once the work is shaped — so you approve a clear price before delivery starts. Embedded teams are a monthly rate. You'll never get an open-ended invoice.
A typical agency writes code to your spec. We start by pressure-testing the spec — what's worth building, in what order, and at what cost. The same senior people then deliver it. Less "do exactly this and let us know if it breaks," more "here's what will hold up, and here's what won't."
You do. All code, designs and intellectual property created in an engagement transfer to you on delivery. We hand over clean repositories, documentation and credentials so you're never dependent on us to continue.
Both are part of scoping, not an afterthought. We discuss hosting region, data residency, retention and which third-party or AI services touch your data. For AI features specifically: evaluation suites and guardrails are part of the deliverable, not a phase-two add-on. We sign a DPA where one's needed.
Yes. We plug into in-house teams, existing codebases and established tooling. We adapt to your stack, rituals and review process rather than asking you to adopt ours.
Have something worth building?
The first conversation isn't a pitch. We'll listen, ask honest questions, and tell you whether we're the right partner. If we're not, we'll point you somewhere we know is.
