Approach

A clear, low-drama way to ship.

Good consultancies aren't defined by how they talk — they're defined by how they work. Here's exactly what an engagement with Mavenup looks like, stage by stage.

What guides us

Four principles behind every engagement.

Outcomes over output

Before we write a line of code, we agree on the business result the work is meant to produce. Activity is easy; a measurable outcome is the point.

Show, don't tell

You see working software every week, not status decks. Progress you can click on keeps everyone honest and surfaces problems while they're still cheap to fix.

Honest about AI

We use AI where it genuinely earns its place — and we'll tell you when a simpler, cheaper solution wins. No technology theatre.

Build for handover

Clean code, documentation and knowledge transfer are part of the deliverable. You should be free to continue with us, your own team, or anyone else.

The engagement

Four stages, each with a clear exit.

You decide whether to continue at the end of every stage. No long lock-in, no momentum traps — just a deliberate choice to take the next step.

1

Discover

We dig into your goals, users, constraints and existing systems — and assess what's feasible. For AI work, we pressure-test whether the use case is a fit.

Exit: a written problem definition.
2

Shape

We turn the problem into a plan: scope, architecture, design direction, milestones and cost. A fixed-scope proposal you can approve or pause on.

Exit: a proposal ready for sign-off.
3

Build

Design and engineering in short, visible cycles. Each week ends with a working demo and a decision call. Scope is tracked openly.

Exit: a release-ready product.
4

Scale

We launch, monitor and harden — and either continue improving with you or hand over cleanly to your team.

Exit: a stable product & clean handover.
Working together

What it feels like day to day.

Process only matters if it makes collaboration easier. Ours is built to keep you informed and in control without adding meetings to your week.

  • One weekly decision call. A working demo, what's next, and any choices that need you. Thirty minutes, not a status marathon.
  • A shared channel. Direct access to the people doing the work — questions answered in hours, not ticket queues.
  • An open backlog. You see scope, progress and priorities at any time. Nothing happens off-screen.
  • Written decisions. Key choices are recorded with their reasoning, so the project stays legible long after launch.
Mon · Planning Fri · Demo & decision

Every Friday: a build you can click, a short written summary, and a clear choice about the week ahead.
